The Annual Meeting and education seminar for the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (MAPIA) will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Newton Marriott – 2345 Commonwealth Avenue · Newton, Massachusetts. Lunch will be provided. We are working on a sponsor and will update you as soon as the sponsor is confirmed along with the timing for the meeting.
Liam McCarthy from Crowley & McCarthy PC and Tony Antonellis and Chris Reilly from Sloane & Walsh LLP will be our speakers for the day. More information to follow.
The MAPIA Board voted to waive the membership dues for 2017.
Please download our membership application. The application can be found on the Membership Page by clicking on “Membership Form”. Applications and payments for 2018 need to be received right away. Membership is $400 per member and an additional $100 if you would like a link on our website. You must be a paid member to attend the meeting and round table.
As you know, there have been no requests for contributions to the PAC Fund for several years. Due to the upcoming statewide elections, the PAC Fund has been making regular contributions to various state candidates and will continue to do so. At this point we must ask for a contribution of $100 per member. This contribution must be made by personal check payable to “MAPIA PAC“.
The Division of Insurance would like to remind all resident individual public insurance adjusters of their continuing education requirements.
